These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and RoleCrest ("RoleCrest," "we," "us"), the operator of the website and services available at https://rolecrest.com (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
RoleCrest is an AI-assisted job-search service. It analyzes the resume and job preferences you provide to generate personalized career research, application materials, and job-match insights. RoleCrest assists candidates with their own job search; it does not make employer hiring decisions, and its outputs are informational assistance, not professional, legal, or career-placement advice. AI-generated content can contain errors; review deliverables before relying on them.
The Services are available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. You must provide accurate eligibility confirmations at signup. We may suspend or close accounts that do not meet these requirements.
You may register with an email address or through a supported sign-in provider (Google or LinkedIn). You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it. Notify us at support@rolecrest.com of any unauthorized use. You may not sell or transfer your account.
Paid offerings currently consist of a one-time Standard career package (USD $49) and an auto-renewing monthly Continuity subscription (USD $19). Payments are processed by our payment providers; prices are shown at checkout in US dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel from your account at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
You agree not to: (a) use the Services to advertise or offer to sell goods or services; (b) sell or otherwise transfer your profile; (c) upload content you do not have the right to use; (d) attempt to probe, disrupt, or bypass security or usage controls; (e) use the Services to violate any law or the rights of others; or (f) misrepresent your identity or eligibility.
You retain your rights in the resumes, preferences, and other materials you submit. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Services — to store, process, and transform your materials (including with third-party AI model providers acting on our behalf) solely to provide your deliverables and operate, secure, and improve the Services, consistent with the Privacy Policy. Generated deliverables are provided for your personal use in your own job search.
The Services, including software, design, and branding, are owned by RoleCrest or its licensors and are protected by law. Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
The Services link to and interoperate with third-party sites and services (for example job boards, research sources, sign-in providers, and payment providers). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT USE OF THE SERVICES WILL RESULT IN INTERVIEWS, OFFERS, OR EMPLOYMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROLECREST'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE SIX (6) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE LIMITS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Before filing a claim, you and RoleCrest agree to try to resolve any dispute informally by written notice (to support@rolecrest.com, or to your account email) and at least thirty (30) days of good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be finally resolved by binding individual arbitration in California, United States, except that either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court. If arbitration fees charged to you are determined to be excessive, RoleCrest will pay them. Any dispute that proceeds in court rather than arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and both parties consent to that venue. CLASS ACTIONS AND CLASS ARBITRATIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO THE EXTENT ENFORCEABLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, ineligibility, legal requirement, or risk to the Services or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 13) survive termination.
We may modify the Services or these Terms. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you (for example by email or an in-product notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
